POLICY STATEMENT

 

FAWTHRITE NIG. LTD is committed to the health, safety and security of persons directly or indirectly involved in the execution of all her jobs; and to the adequate protection and preservation of the environment in which man lives.

 

The top level priority given to programs vis-a-vis health and safety of personnel, integrity of machines; security of personnel, materials, equipment and indeed the preservation of the environment, places safety on an equal pedestal with productivity.  Therefore management is fully involved in the evolvement and monitoring of Community Health, Safety, Environment and Security programs.

 

However, in spite of the fact that management is charged with safety policy formulation and the enforcement of safety – related programs, the responsibility is not theirs alone. The company is therefore committed to putting all staff through orientation programs aimed at making every staff a prototype safety officer in character.  The projection is that with such a system, all staff can more appreciate the full importance of Community Health Safety, Environment and Security Policy and dictates.  Obviously the result is that all employees are wont to functioning in such a manner as not to cause any harm or injury to his or herself, other persons and consciously ameliorate adverse effects of operations on the environment whilst in the same vein ensuring that no damage is inflicted on materials and equipment.

 

For strict adherence to the CASHES policy, a designated CASHES advisor shall be responsible for its implementation.

 

Suffice is to say, that FAWTHRITE NIG. LTD in order to keep pace with dynamism attendant with human life, will subject this CASHES policy to review after a period not exceeding one year.
